Read Day 0, 1 here
We went to the British Museum.
We stayed till the museum closed, after which we took the tube to find St Martin's Theatre to pick up our Mousetrap tickets and then walked around trying to find a place to eat. This was our first day of theatre, so obviously I was brimming with excitement:)
It is such a glorious anthropology museum! From the moment I stepped in, I couldn't stop gaping at its splendour. We didn't even manage to cover half the place, though we'd spent the entire day there till it closed at 5.30pm. We covered the entire Egyptian section (never seen so many mummies in one exhibit before) and part of the Greek section; the extensiveness of the collections was amazing. Plus the museum is free!

Then we stumbled on Jamie's Italian.
Truffle tagliatelle - fresh foraged black truffles, butter, Parmesan & nutmeg
Major love for anything truffly, really.
Crab spaghettini - Devonshire crab tossed with capers, chilli, fennel, parsley, anchovies & lemon
Wild rabbit casarecce - slow cooked ragu with garlic & herbs, mascarpone & lemon
Don't hate me for saying this but rabbit is actually rather good. It tastes like a cross between pork, lamb and tuna, which technically doesn't sound appetising, but it is. And yes, we did feel a tad evil for trying this, but one ought to be adventurous, right?
Crispy arancini - stuffed risotto rice balls with sweet red chillies, mozzarella, spicy arrabbiata sauce & Parmesan
Brownie with amaretto ice cream & caramelised amaretti popcorn
This was a bit of a letdown as the brownie was too sweet and popcorn too mild to be considered flavoured.
It wasn't the cheapest of places (though I was surprised to hear from Aunty LK that eating out in London is cheaper than SG. A fancy meal in London by a Michelin star restaurant will cost about £35 per head while the equivalent in SG is $500. That's a huge difference...). Anyway our meal was about £11 per head because we took the smaller, starter portions (which turned out a decent enough portion for a meal anyway).
After dinner, we went back to watch Mousetrap. It suspenseful and funny and I loved it!:)
